JIC Venture Growth Investments (VGI) has invested in the share of Grooves Inc. (Grooves), a company connecting job opportunities of thousands of companies in Japan and recruitersat its direct platform, through its JIC Venture Growth Fund 1 (VGF1).

Grooves has a huge network of Japanese corporations within its platform and strong alliances with Japan’s local banks. In response to the challenges of the declining workforce and concentration only in Tokyo, “Crowd Agent” has been improving the mobility of the workforce and eliminating the shortage of human resources in rural areas.

Through this investment, VGI intends to support Grooves’ growth into a leading HRTech platform in Japan that supports hiring needs of local companies.
