We are pleased to announce that the investment in Nxera Pharma Co., Ltd. (Nxera Pharma, former Sosei Group Corporation), made by JICVGI Opportunity Fund No.1, which is operated by JIC Venture Growth Investments Co., Ltd., in December 2023, has been selected as the "Financing Deal of the Year" at the Citeline Japan Awards 2024 held on October 22, 2024.
The Citeline Japan Awards, the Japanese rendition of the prestigious global Scrip Awards, which have been running for 19 years, recognize outstanding advancements and innovations in Japanese pharma and biotech sector. This is the third year for the award in Japan, and it aims to highlight Japan's integral role in the global healthcare market.
Each category was independently and objectively evaluated by a panel of industry experts from academia and business across Japan. These experts assessed the finalists during the evaluation period of July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.
Nxera Pharma won two awards at this year's awards ceremony: “Biotech Company of the Year” and “Financing Deal of the Year”.
