Prior to joining VGI in August 2024, Yuya worked for the SBI Group, with a focus on business succession investments, managing the fund portfolio, and increasing the value of investments. Prior to joining SBI, he worked for the Mie Bank (now Sanjusan Bank) as a new graduate and worked in branch operations, M&A advisory, revitalization support, and loan screening.
